I am the mother to a little boy who has been diagnosed with Down Syndrome. He was joined by a little sister in 2005 who keeps us all on our toes. I am also a Portage Teacher in the NE Surrey Team. |

Our son was born in 2003 and has a diagnosis of Fragile X Syndrome, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and a wicked sense of humour. Following his graduation from JOG in 2006 he attended 'the little group' in Epsom. He now goes to a special needs school in Guildford. |

My second child was born in 2005 and, as a result of being a very sick baby, suffered developmental delay and also had to have a nasal gastric tube for feeding purposes. He was diagnosed with a rare genetic metabolic condition which is controlled with medication. He has made terrific progress and has started at a mainstream nursery. He currently receives extra Speech Therapy. |

My first son was diagnosed with Spina Bifida at our 20 week scan so we were reasonably prepared when he was born in 2002. He left JOG in 2004 and currently attends a mainstream school. He uses a walking frame to get around but is getting to grips with his new wheelchair to help with longer distances. |
